How does it work?

How World Cup Predictor League works

A simple guide to playing for free, scoring and leaderboards, optional prize eligibility, and how tournament winners are determined.

Free Play - NOW LIVE!

Create an account, predict matches, join leagues, and follow the leaderboard.

You can play for free, but if you choose to pay the £10 prize fund fee you are directly helping a really important cause.

Prize Opt-In - COMING SOON!

Prize fund opens after Gameweek 1. Pay £10 to become prize-eligible and support a great cause.

Play for free or opt in—same matches, same leaderboard, same scoring. Your choice.

Scoring and Leaderboards

Predict match results before kickoff. Fixtures lock at kickoff, and points are awarded after full-time.

Earn 3 points for exact scores, 2 for correct result + goal difference, and 1 for correct result only.

Everyone plays the same matches with the same rules—rankings are pure skill, not luck.

How Winners Are Determined

Prize winners - highest points over the tournament among prize-eligible players. Final ranking starts with total points and then uses fixed tie-break rules.

Tiebreaks - players tied on points are ranked by most exact scores, then most correct results, then earliest paid entry timestamp. Those rules determine payout and admin ranking without any chance-based draw.

Same game for everyone

Whether you play for free or opt in to the prize fund, you predict the same matches, use the same scoring system, and appear on the same leaderboard. Payment only affects prize eligibility.
