How does it work?

How World Cup Predictor League works

A simple guide to free play, skill-based scoring, optional prize eligibility, and how tournament winners are determined.

Free Play

Create an account, predict matches, join leagues, and follow the leaderboard.

You can play for free, but if you choose to pay the £10 prize fund fee you are directly helping a really important cause.

Prize Opt-In

Choose to pay the £10 tournament entry fee and become eligible to win!

Paying supports a great cause and makes you prize-eligible. You can still play free, with the same matches and leaderboard for everyone.

Skill Scoring

Points are awarded on football knowledge and prediction accuracy: 3 points for an exact score, 2 points for the correct result and goal difference, and 1 point for the correct result only.

Everyone predicts the same fixtures under the same scoring rules, so rankings are based on cumulative skill rather than chance-based selection.

How Winners Are Determined

Prize winners - highest points over the tournament among prize-eligible players. Final ranking starts with total points and then uses fixed tie-break rules.

Tiebreaks - players tied on points are ranked by most exact scores, then most correct results, then earliest paid entry timestamp. Those rules determine payout and admin ranking without any chance-based draw.

Same game for everyone

Whether you play for free or opt in to the prize fund, you predict the same matches, use the same scoring system, and appear on the same leaderboard. Payment only affects prize eligibility.
